Frequently Asked Questions

Questions we are often asked regarding the installation, maintenance and upkeep of hot tubs

How soon after a service can I use my hot tub?

You can use your hot tub as soon as the water is up to temperature, which is usually around 8 to 10 hours.

Is it okay for me to wear make up/fake tan in my hot tub?

To extend the life of your hut tub, we at Cheshie Hot Tub Services recommend not to wear make up or fake tan wherever possible.

Can I consider having a hot tub installed if the area I am thinking of has limited access?

Of Course you can!

Here at Cheshire Hot Tub Services we have installed many hot tubs an spas where access has been limited. To deal with this a crane has been hired at an extra cost to help place the hot tub into position. Various cranes are available to hire depending on the reach required. All of this can be explained and hire prices can be quoted when we quote for the hot tub installation.

Can you prepare the area where I want my hot tub with a base and the electrics required?

Yes, absolutely! We often have to do this with every installation. We will make sure a base adequate for you hot tub is created and the correct electrics are installed by our qualified electricians at Cheshire Hot Tub Services.

Can  I have a sunken hot tub installed into my decking?

Having hot tubs installed in this way is an option but it is not something we recommend and is something we say needs a lot of consideration as it makes the maintenance and servicing of your hot tub much trickier as well as any repairs. It is the regular and correct maintenance and servicing of your hot tub which will keep it working correctly and will give it the longest life possible.
